ABERDEEN, UK – June 5, 2026 – Entrion Wind has established a UK subsidiary, Entrion Wind UK Ltd., based in Aberdeen, supporting its ongoing project development activities in the UK offshore wind market.

The new entity provides a local platform to engage with developers, contractors and the supply chain as Entrion advances discussions around potential demonstration projects and future commercial applications of its Fully Restrained Platform (FRP) technology.
“The establishment of a UK presence allows us to work more closely with project partners and the local supply chain as we progress toward an offshore demonstration,” said Eivind Johnsen, CEO of Entrion Wind. “The UK is a key market for deeper-water offshore wind, and we see strong alignment between emerging project needs and the capabilities of the FRP concept.”
Entrion Wind’s patented FRP foundation concept is designed to extend the applicability of monopile-based solutions into deeper-water environments. By combining a central pile with a mooring system, the design increases structural stiffness while leveraging established fabrication methods and supply chains.
The company is currently progressing technical validation, constructability work and project development in collaboration with industry partners as part of its roadmap toward a full-scale offshore demonstration.
About Entrion Wind
Entrion Wind A/S is advancing the future of offshore wind through its patented Fully Restrained Platform (FRP) monopile—a foundation system designed to extend the use of monopile technology into water depths of 60 to 120 meters. Central to this innovation is the proprietary Top Mooring Assembly (TMA), which enhances lateral stiffness and stability without adding complexity to installation. By leveraging existing technologies and supply chains, Entrion Wind enables a cost-effective, scalable solution for deepwater offshore wind development. www.entrionwind.com
