“Entrion Wind has completed the design phase of its top mooring assembly (TMA) project and are pleased to announce to have engaged Panterra AS to manufacture the 1:2 TMA prototype and help oversee TMA testing. Panterra is a leading fabricator in Norway with a proven track record of providing offshore equipment and mooring and tensioning solutions”, said Jon Høvik, Vice President of Engineering.

The FRP monopile extends the monopile and its favourable economics to 100-meter water depth. The design is based on a monopile and an offshore mooring system, both technologies with proven field experience. The only novel component is the TMA, connecting the mooring system and the monopile and designed with 500-ton pre-tensioning capacity.
Entrion Wind will test TMA prototype at the Mil-Lab at the university of Agder (AiU) in Grimstad, Norway at the end of this year and is planning an offshore demonstration project next year.
